About Amari

Amari Amson (known as Am) is an indie author living in Australia who writes contemporary fantasy, high fantasy, and science fiction. They have a deep love for found family tropes and a chronic inability to keep their life in order, one of which is a more common theme in their stories than the other.

Am’s debut novel is the first book in their Phantom Vengeance series, Responsible Revenge. Their next novel, the first installment in a new space opera series, is called The Purpose Puzzle and is due to release in April 2022.

Am also blogs about mental health, neurodiversity, and psychology in fiction, if you’re interested in learning more about how to write characters with psychological issues — especially if you’re hoping to do better than several current Hollywood franchises.
